Tommy Emmanuel Golden concert in Umeå

Yesterday at work by lunchtime I had to check out a ticket I kept in my wallet. I was sure it was on tuesday evening I was going to see the fantastic guitar player

But, what a surprise - he was going to perform on this monday evening!

Immediately when noticing that this man was going to come to Umeå on hit tour, I seized the opportunity and reserved a ticket

With such excellent fingerstyle you almost couldnt beleive your ears

I was lucky listening to him in Umeå yesterday performing a marvellous concert!

It was unbeleivable, and with so much feelings in it. We were all standing up several times giving him big hands!

This is actually the second time I listen to him live and I wouldnt mind doing it again

If you ever get a chance to see him live 

just  

seize the opportunity 

and
 go for it!

And looking at the moon when coming home again I almost felt the greatfulness of other listeners out there  ..

Harmonic Blues - Follow Your Heart

I guess its time to update a bit about what happened after I sezied an opportunity and started playing the harmonica..

...Full of joyfull energy when playing the harmonica I decided to go to a music shop asking about harmonicas, and maybe get me another one. 

I have understood that its good to have more than one...

 

First, I went to my music base:)  

Burmans Musik. 

They dont sell instruments, but I started talking to Viktor and Stefan and finally Stefan asked: 

-do you want to borrow a dvd with Blues and harmonica? ...

me: 

...well, sure yes. 

Stefan continued:

... are you going to Droskan tomorrow listening to Mark Hummel? 

Me: 

well.. havent really thought about it..... 

He: 

...well, if you want harmonica and blues, this is the concert to go to!

Before driving home, I ended up buying a ticket for the concert 

..and tonight ladies and gentlemen I am going to listen to three bands:

Mannish boys, 

Mike´s blue groove ... 

AND

 last but not least 

 Marc Hummel and his band

What happens when a woman of 

50 years

seize an opportunity??

I think you would have enjoyed listening to them - three ladies of 50 sitting at the pub meeting again after all these years 
since high school. 

Oh La la:)

In a magic moment one of them said: 


... what happens when a lady of 50 years seize an opportunity?

 It gave the feeling of a life changing possibility 
... and they laughed and played like new born! 

The feeling of... well why not check out the green grass on the other side?

As I have had a feeling of fun inside for a while when thinking about learning how to playing harmonica...

I started smiling :)

...and the day after

I seized the opportunity and started finding out how to play harmonica

by using the one my father used to play on
