Welcome to the European Capital of Culture and experience a one-of-a-kind art exhibition at Sweden’s oldest record store 

Burmans Musik!

Anna Karin Karlsson has been a practiser of Vedic Art for more than ten years after studies in Falun and Umeå, Sweden during 2002-03. She has participated in multiple exhibitions in Northern Sweden.

The paintings are done using acrylic on canvas, wood and vinyl

Im back again after some months of holiday from blogging.

This photo was taken during my exhibition at

Burmans musik in may this year, I love having exhibitions in this magic music shop and will do it again next year 2014.

 

I have painted a lot lately and promise you it will be a special exhbition..as always :)

I had a great time on Kulturnatta, 

opening up my 

Art exhibition 

Rebirth

with a vernissage

Burmans Musik

 Old and New Friends visited my exhibition

Different bands were playing outside the shop

Great feedback was given to me about my art

Finally I went to sleep on my veranda 

for the first time this year!

She is relaxing preparing her dress..clothes all over the place.., her hair and ..well.. I am surving with good food and drinks

Mrs Bumble Bees Friday Speech

Hi Guys!:))

 Its me again

Mrs Bumble Bee:))

  

I want to talk about some words that The ArtandPlejWoman is kind of in love with:) Its her own kind of proverb and she mention them now and then as a way of treating her life

The words are:

We dont know Anything about the Future

These kind of words are of course very true and easy to agree with. The good thing is that they are the same for me as for you, because non of us can know anything about the future. Well, some things maybe..but not the big things coming. Its a good thing using them instead of worrying so much.

 The ArtandPlejWoman once had an art exhibition named like this. It took place at Burmans Musik, Umeå in 2010 as a part of the arrangment "Kulturnatta".

And yes, Fransiskus is in the painting, and I am very happy that she sticks to this kind of an icon as he is the protector of animals and ecology

Christmas traditions - The Osmonds:)

This week starts with a 
special nostalgic

Christmas music tradition 

 by

The Osmonds

When I worked at Burmans Musik a tradition started:
 

We loved The Osmonds Christmas album, 
but it was only "allowed" 

to be played during

the week before Christmas Eve. 

I stick to the tradition and now its time for playing it:)

 Even Santa wants to join playing:)
