Painting for Love and Peace

One of my favorite places to be in when I paint is inside of my veranda. The light is perfect and the nature outside feels like the best company joining me - calming and inspiring at the same time.

Yellow Beauty on an old Table!

This yellow rose came to me one week ago

together with a bouquet of ten roses all in different colours

I put this beautiful yellow rose to stand by itself together with some green leaves

The table is very old, more than hundred years, and comes from the family on my fathers side, Baggböle
together with the chairs. Someone in the family made the table for sure, many of my relatives made furniture

An artist painted the table, its still very beautiful!

Birch Tree Art from Umeå- Top Class!

Umeå 

is called

Björkarnas stad/

The City of Birch trees

The background of the city nickname goes back to 1888, when the town almost burned down completely. After rebuilding the town broad streets were built and birch trees planted on each side of them. 

The trees would protect a possible new fire from jumping over from one house to another etc.
 

I love these trees and the remarcable artistic view available looking at them in different ways

I invite you all looking at the bark from some of them, use your fantasy, step into yourself find your inner paintings externalised by viewing the trees using your eyes and imagination

What is Art?

Some years ago I took these special photos. I guess its very hard to understand what it is, I will explain. 

I was sitting in a bus with friends from work. We were going together in a bus to Hemavan. During the trip the driver had to use the windscreen wipers and between the moves I noticed some special art coming up and fond it very artistic, creative.
