Harvest time - free gifts from nature

Now its time to go out in the nature and get some of those free gifts available there for us. I have picked leaves from blackcurrant and peppermint . I will dry them and have it as a nice tea mix later on. Did you know that leaves from blackcurrant have more c-vitamin in them than the berries have?

I picked blueberries too, an antioxidant super boostered berry. Why visit health shops when nature is free?

Silver recycling

I have worked some with silver this summer using material from silver spoons etc. I beleive in recycling and by using things that nobody uses any longer in the original way, transforming them into new design is one way of creation that feels good. Its demanding and exhiting to see the reasult develope, step by step.

In the first photo you can see a ring that I made of material from a silver spoon, the decoration was from new material in silver. In the second photo you see the item I showed earlier now finished. It was also made with material from a silver spoon part of it.

Liquorice from Island

I love Liquorice! - Yesterday I got my order of Bingokulor from Brobergs lakrits. They import different kinds of liquorice from Island and the kind that I ordered is covered with chocolate. I strongly recommend you to try some of their liquorice as its really good.  The company has very good service when you order from them by internet, and I have also seen the brand of this delicate yam yam in shops in my town. I remember when I did my education to occupational therapist many years ago. One of my class mates came from Island. She let me try different kind of liquorice with chocolate, and I loved it!
